About Bridport Tennis Club

Located at the Plottingham Playing Fields within walking distance of the town Bridport Tennis Club is an LTA affiliated tennis club and has a very active committee and membership of approximately 135, including Juniors.

The Club does not have a playing-in standard policy and warmly welcomes new members of all ages and standards. Non-members are welcome to hire courts by calling Bridport Sports on 01308 427432 (view map).

Members benefit from priority booking of courts, club sessions, tournaments and the opportunity to participate in league matches.

Team Tennis at Bridport Tennis Club

For the summer season the Club has 3 Mixed, 2 Ladies, 2 Mens and 3 Junior teams competing in the Yeovil and District Lawn Tennis League. Go to Team Tennis for more details.

Club Sessions

Club sessions are extremely popular and are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. See Club Programme for more details. In addition to matches, we hold several singles and doubles tournaments throughout the year, some of which are open to non-members. These are always well attended, sociable events with prizes and a cup awarded to runners-up and winners.
